Location
Madikwe Hills is in the Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West Province of South Africa. Madikwe is about three & a half hours' driving distance from Johannesburg, or a one-hour flight.
The lodge is set on a hilltop, in the heart of the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve.
Accommodation
Madikwe Hills comprises of a main safari lodge and Little Madikwe Hills, a separate family friendly private villa.
The main lodge has 10 luxurious glass-fronted suites (size ±150m²), each with their own verandah and private plunge pool. The suites are nestled amongst huge boulders and majestic Tamboti trees.
Little Madikwe Hills is a family friendly Private Villa (size ±390m²) with 2 bedrooms, gourmet kitchen, entertainment centre, game drive vehicle, game ranger, personal butler and chef. Two additional standard suites may be reserved to form a private camp which can accommodate up to 8 guests - an ideal retreat for families.

The Reserve
Madikwe Game Reserve is a Big 5 reserve covering an area of over 75,000 hectares of African bush. The plains are home to over 66 mammal species, including the rare African Wild Dog, and a range of more than 300 resident and migratory species of birds.

Please Note
## No single supplement is charged for the first two single suites confirmed in any one reservation. The third single suite or more will pay a 50% supplement on the per person sharing rate.
One child (10-16 years) sharing a suite with 2 paying adults pay 50% of the adult sharing rate.
Children
- At Main Camp children over 10 will be accepted (one child may share a suite with 2 full paying adults) and pay 50% of the adult sharing rate.

We enhance your game viewing experience by having 6 guests per game vehicle – two guests per row.

Madikwe Hills proudly plays a prominent role in the upliftment of the Molatedi Village local community. Madikwe Hills has undertaken to supply clothing, food and other aid and also assists with skills development and job creation.

How to get here
Self-drive: an approximate 4½ hour drive (±330 km) to the Lodge from Johannesburg & Pretoria. Follow the route via Zeerust before proceeding north. The lodge is accessed via Abjaterskop Gate.

By air: 50 minute scheduled flight direct from O.R. Tambo, Johannesburg to Madikwe Game Reserve. Rates may be obtained from the air shuttle operator. The lodge charges a landing fee per person (to be settled at the lodge)
A complimentary road transfer service is offered from the Madikwe Hills airstrip to the lodge.
