The Reserve

Zwahili is situated in a privately owned reserve, offering a diverse bushveld landscape, an abundance of wildlife - including two of the Big 5 - Lion & Leopard. Daily game drives are conducted by qualified rangers. Guided bush walks are also conducted.

Accommodation

Zwahili offers three luxury en-suite rooms in the main lodge, four elegant safari suites, two executive suites (Madiba and Rafiki suites) and one opulent presidential suite. We can accommodate a maximum of 20 guests, thereby ensuring a personal and tranquil experience further enhanced by excellent cuisine.

Main Lodge Rooms (3 rooms)

Cheetah room

A queen size suite, furnished in true African style, balcony with a breathtaking view of the bush and the waterhole below. En-suite bathroom with large oval bath, basin, shower and separate WC.

Rhino room

A standard suite, with en-suite shower, basin & WC. Private balcony.

Elephant room

The Elephant room is a spacious king size suite with private balcony and "His & Hers" en-suite bathrooms, one containing a bath and the other a shower.

Safari Suites (4 suites)

Embrace a true African experience, four king size suites, en-suite, all within walking distance of the restaurant, creating a truly isolated and private environment where one can be in touch with Africa's unique and unspoilt beauty.

Canvas walled, under thatch suites with en-suite bathroom. Ball & claw bath, His and Hers basins, WC and an invigorating outside shower for two. A private sun deck with incredible views of the surrounding bush, adds to the luxury of these unique suites.

Executive Suites (2 suites)

The Madiba and Rafiki Executive Suites offer 5 star comfort. Each king size suite has an open plan lounge area with flat screen TV, satellite service & mini bar leading to a private deck with a plunge pool and uninterrupted views. The luxurious en-suite bathroom with ball & claw bath, his and hers basins, separate toilet & bidet & spacious shower.

Presidential Suite (1 suite)

Royal African, the epitome of regal opulence and grandeur. Immerse yourself in unspoilt nature with breathtaking views of the African Bushveld. Personal service and absolute privacy. The suite contains a lounge with flat screen TV and satellite service, en-suite bathroom with ball and claw bath, large shower, his & hers basins, separate WC & bidet and outside shower for two. Activities

Game viewing

Game viewing, conducted by an experienced ranger offers sighting of lion, leopard, giraffe, civet cat, caracal, brown hyena, zebra, eland, blue wildebeest, njala, impala, red hartebeest, ostrich, gemsbuck, kudu, waterbuck, blesbuck, bush pig, warthog, and numerous smaller antelope.

Children on Game Drives

Children over the age of 6 years are welcome but will be allowed on the game drives only on discretion of the guide. Separate game drives can be arranged. Special dining arrangements can be made and baby sitting services are provided on request at a nominal charge.

• inclusive of 14% Value Added Tax (VAT)

Child policy

• Children from 6 years of age are welcome
• A rate of R730,00 per child per night is applicable if sharing a room with 2 full paying adults.
• Children occupying their own rooms will be charged the applicable adult rate.
• From 12 years, children are considered adult & have to stay in their own room.
