The setting

Dulini Game Lodge is in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, next to the Kruger National Park. Our game drives traverse a region of 10 000 hectares (24 700 acres). Our rangers drive off-road - for exceptional sightings - to make sure you get the best possible viewing. The Sabi Sand rangers adhere to strict vehicle limits at sightings to keep safari experiences exclusive for guests.

The reserve

The two perennial rivers, the Sabi River and the Sand River, flow to the south of Dulini Game Lodge. Sabi Sand Game Reserve is named after these two rivers. In 1993 authorities dropped the fences between the Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sand Game Reserve to allow the animals an even bigger traversing territory. Sabi Sand is famed for its excellent Big 5 game viewing and its great diversity of wildlife.

The lodge

Dulini is beneath ancient trees on the banks of the Mabrak River.

The main lodge houses a lounge, boma, veranda, viewing deck, swimming pool, wine cellar, spa, gym and safari shop.

Fine wining and dining complements our luxurious accommodation. Our chefs prepare tasty meals specialising in the culinary tradition of African flavours. Select a bottle of fine South African wine from our wine cellar to complement your splendid meal.

Accommodation

Spacious accommodation is offered in six thatched suites on the banks of the riverbed. The suite interiors are romantic, each with a spacious lounge, an elegant bedroom, canopies of mosquito nets, beautiful en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, its own plunge pool and shady deck. The deck offers a private view over the riverbed, integrating nature and elegance.

Activities

Our activities include daily game drives, interpretive bush walks, bird watching, night safaris, bush dining, spa and gym.

Game drives are offered daily. The thrill of the morning safari is followed by an evening game drive and sundown cocktails from a spectacular view point. In between game drives, you may relax in the tranquil surroundings. Visit the spa for a massage, visit the state-of-the-art gym, enjoy cocktails at the pool, or indulge in a good book.

Our guides offer bush walks to highlight the intricacies of nature, often overlooked from a vehicle, and to introduce the excitement of being immersed in the environment.
